BA in Art
(Studio Art, Art History, & Art Education options)
For students concentrating in Art Education who are interested in pursuing New York State Teaching Certification in Visual Arts, you must speak to the Art Education Program Director.
BFA in Electronic Design & Multimedia
A portfolio review is required for admission to the BFA program. The portfolio should demonstrate aptitude; finished, professional work is not a criterion. The committee is looking for raw ability, talent and motivation.
The MFA program requires a portfolio submission in addition to admission to City College. Applicants may be asked to appear for a personal interview by the departmental Graduate Committee.

Because we are continuing most Spring 2021 classes online, it is absolutely critical that you use your CCNY email accounts to receive instructions from your professors and CCNY. Please also check your courses on Blackboard; announcements from individual professors will be posted there.
